Every team needs a great personality and in the Matildas there are plenty of those.  One such player is defender Servet Uzunlar.  The dichotomy of Uzunlar's personality is fascinating.  Fun, playful, self-deprecating off the pitch yet intense, focused and self-critical on it.

The final weeks of the Westfield W-League fill me with immense excitement as we conclude the best season of football we have witnessed domestically.  However, it also fills me with trepidation and concern for the women's program in this country.  Why? Well because the 2012 international landscape is frighteningly bare.  So the question must be asked; where to from here?
