Week one of the Women's Premier League Finals Series pits reigning Premiers Box Hill Inter against last year's Runners-Up Heidelberg United in the Qualifying Final, while Sandringham host Ashburton in the Elimination Final.

Women's Premier League: Round 18 Preview

Round 18 provides four critical matches for the Women's Premier League with all played at 1pm on Sunday. Both Ashburton and Casey will be relying on each other to lose to see if they can take the fourth spot in the finals, while Heidelberg will be doing the same so they can take top spot from Box Hill Inter. The Vipers are pushing for fifth spot, an excellent result for a team that was not focused on developing their squad in 2010, while if Preston can beat Heidelberg, they may be able to avoid relegation.
